Old Scratch

Well I just finished my first post-grad movie and I must say I am very pleased with the result. This is easily my best work so far and I feel it is a great jumping off point for the future. We shot the bulk of the movie on my new Panasonic DVX100B, which I am extremely excited about having. The liquor store scene was shot on Fourth of July Weekend, so we had to get out of there as fast as possible. To further complicated things, our actor Frederick could only give us 45 minutes of his time, AND he had his newborn baby with him. We ran a 3-camera setup while my producer Roney tried to keep the baby quiet during the takes. Unfortunately the other two cameras don't match the quality of the main cam, but what can you do? Despite that hangup, everything else went beautifully, and everybody involved did a fantastic job.
